Altar Guild

Members of the Altar Guild serve in one or more of the following areas: Sunday Services, Weddings, and Funerals.

Three teams prepare the altar for all three Sunday services. Each teams serves for 1 month, 4 times a year. Their responsibilities include preparing the vessels for Communion and Baptism; changing the altar, pulpit, and lectern hangings in accordance with the church year colors; caring for the altar/communion linens.

Volunteers from each team are responsible for services on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, and Thanksgiving Day. A core group of volunteers serve at weddings and funerals.

New members are welcome. Parents, we invite you to have your children work with you - a very meaningful way to raise our children up in our faith.
