Children's Sunday School
9:00am, Pre-K — 5th Grade

Our Show Me Jesus curriculum for toddlers-4th grade is a Christ-centered, doctrinally sound, interactive program that teaches the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We focus on building Christ-centered relationships while learning God’s Word and experiencing His love for each child.

5th graders use the Hands-On-Bible curriculum to learn how to apply scripture to life issues and truly live the Gospel. This year prepares them for their faith journey towards confirmation and deeper friendships in the Youth Ministry starting in 6th grade.

Sunday School Registration
All Saints Church honors children and the milestones they reach at various points in their lives. We strive to create an environment where children can build community among one another as they mature both developmentally and in Christ. In order to facilitate these goals, children are placed in the appropriate Sunday School class based on their age as of September 1 of the commencing academic year.

Acolyte Ministry

To ensure our children grow into their Christian responsibility, we must give them opportunities to participate in the life of Christ as early as we can. This ministry is an ideal way for boys and girls to live into their baptismal covenant by serving at God’s altar.

Children age 8 and older are invited to carry the light of Christ and the Cross during processions and to assist with Communion beginning with the 9am service. Training is offered throughout the year. For more information, call Bill Freund @ (301) 229-0799.

Preparation for Holy Communion
All baptized Christians are invited to the Lord’s Table during Communion. As children grow in their faith, it’s appropriate to give them instruction on the sacred meaning of Communion. At our next preparation class, children will be divided into two age groups so that they receive age-appropriate instruction.

All children are encouraged to attend – whether they’ve received prior instruction or taken Communion before without instruction. To sign up, please contact The Rev. Alex Large.

Baptism Instruction

Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the Church. The sacrament of Baptism is administered regularly at All Saints. Parents, godparents and the congregation promise to know Christ and bring up the child in the Church.

Meals for Moms

Whether you like to cook or buy take-out — you can bless families with new babies by providing a meal for them. Email Emily Large if you’d like to be on our volunteer list.
