The Ministry of Music

The ministry of music actively involves children, youth and adults. Great importance is placed on the value of knowing and serving the Lord God through the offering of music in the worship of His Church. Our goal is to grow in the stewardship of the musical gifts God has given us, and through this work to experience a deepening of one's walk with Christ. Come, let us sing to the Lord!

Adult Choir

The All Saints Choir is a mixed group of women and men that provides musical leadership for Sunday services from September through the beginning of June, as well as for special services and concerts. Membership is open to anyone of high school age and up who is willing and able to make a reasonable commitment and who would enjoy the opportunity of serving All Saints Church through the Ministry of Music. One need not be a professional singer to belong, although a pleasant voice and sense of pitch are helpful. Most important is an eagerness to be challenged, stimulated, and experience the reward of spiritual and musical growth working together with a wonderful group of dedicated parishioners.

Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:00-9:00pm  (and special rehearsals as required)

Services & Concerts: Sundays at 11:00am, with pre-service warmup at 10:00am. In addition, there are special services and programs, such as the Advent Festival, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, and the Easter Vigil.

Treble Choir

The Treble Choir is for girls and boys age 8 through Middle School. This program offers children the opportunity to participate in worship, a superb musical experience, Christian formation, fellowship & fun, and the joy of creating beautiful music.

Choristers are enabled to properly use and enjoy their voices, learn how to read music, and take an active part in worship. They sing a wide variety of sacred music ranging in scope from trebles-only repertoire to compositions combining the full resources of the choir program. The intergenerational scope of the program - children and adults working cooperatively together - is highly valued.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm

Services & Activities: Sing for regularly scheduled services (averaging two 11:00am services per month) September-June, including Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday, Easter and Pentecost. In addition, choristers participate in regional choir festivals and other special events.

This recording features both of the All Saints choirs--adults and children--hand bell ringers, and instrumentalists. It includes the sacred compositions of our Minister of Music, Peter Crisafulli, written between 1990-2005, for use at All Saints Church. Copies are avaiable in the Library.
