Prayer Ministry
The ministry of prayer is growing at All Saints as we continue to nurture our relationship with Christ individually and corporately.
The Prayer Room
Our Prayer Room, across from the Great Hall, is available for individual or small group prayer throughout the week.
Do You Need Prayer?
Prayer is available during Sunday morning Eucharist with the Healing & Intercessory Prayer Ministers. A pair of trained parishioners will pray confidentially for any concern you wish to bring before the Lord. Opportunities for confidential, extended prayer are available during the week. Contact The Rev. Alex Large if you are interested in setting aside time for individual prayer with two intercessors.
Prayer Chain
Many are on call to pray for parishioners’ concerns through a confidential e-mail and phone network. You can submit any prayer need to the Prayer Chain by emailing Claire & Chris West.
Wednesday Morning Prayer Group has been meeting for a number of years, following the Prayer Book’s Morning Prayer service and lifting up the names of people in need, including those listed in the Sunday bulletin. Newcomers are welcome.
Wednesday 12:10pm Service
You’re invited to our weekly 12:10 Wednesday Service of Holy Communion, followed by prayers offered by clergy.
Women's Possibilities of Prayer grew out of a Lenten study in 2005. The women have continued to meet on the first Saturday of each month (September-May) at 10:00am, to study a prayer-related topic. There are some opportunities for group prayer and newcomers are always welcome.
Stephen Ministry, part of our Pastoral Care Ministry, provides one-on-one, confidential, weekly care with a Stephen Minister, a listening friend, who is trained to be present to another in meeting challenging life transitions such as death, divorce, job loss, illness, separation, new baby, parenting issues, etc. Prayer is often a part of this relationship. For more about Stephen Ministry, go here.
Women’s Quiet Day & Retreat
Women’s retreats are held once to twice a year at ASC for all women of the church and friends with music, prayer and quiet time.
