Kids' Church is every Sunday starting at 9am in the Ground Floor Kids' Church Room for kids ages 4-17. At All Saints, we've created a special worship service for children using Orange Publication's 252 materials based on Luke 2:52 as a framework to help kids grow up as Jesus did. Luke 2:52 says, "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men." Our adult, middle and high school leaders encourage kids to respond to what they learn about who God is and to celebrate what He has done for them through worship and prayer. We want kids to decide that they can trust God no matter what. We establish the Bible as the source of wisdom and truth.
Kids' Church worship service is organized each month around one thread—a virtue that we see in God. These threads are important themes we find over and over again in the Bible, so we pick the most applicable stories to emphasize God's character and His desire to make us more like Him. After we study the Bible stories, we create one clear Bottom Line for each week about how this can look in our own lives. For more information on "252" go to: http://www.whatisorange.org/252basics/
Practical "Parent Cue" cards and Kids Devotionals "God Time" cards expound on the Bible lessons your kids are learning in Kids' Church and Sunday School. These tools can help you continue the conversation throughout the week just as we're instructed to do. "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." (Deuteronomy. 6: 5-7) and "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6). You can also pick these up each week at our Kids' Check In Station on the Ground Floor near the parking lot entrance.
