Sunday School small groups are centered on raising up the next generation— preparing them as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Great Commissions Publications, Show Me Jesus curriculum equips children by firmly rooting them in God’s Word. Each age level’s lesson uniquely contributes to the overall objective of a well-rounded, in-depth biblical education. Teachers encourage kids to engage in spiritual conversations where they can ask questions and discover real answers. Healthy friendships flourish when kids are given opportunities to share and pray for each other. We encourage kids to spend time with Jesus during the week since He wants to be their friend and help them grow to be more like Him.
Summer Sunday School June 23–August 25, 2013
Sundays 10-11am during July and August, children meet in two age groups for Sunday School. Ages 3 through rising 1st graders meet on the Ground Floor across from the Infant Nursery. Rising 2nd through rising 5th graders meet on the 2nd floor in the large classroom.
Our teachers use the 252 curriculum by Orange for our summer curriculum. We want our children to experience and own three basic truthsexperienced and own three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 (now you know what the 252 means):
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
