Assisting at Worship
At All Saints Episcopal Church we have many ways to engage with others in Sunday worship. For students we have our acolyte ministry and Choir. For adults we have Ushers, Lay Readers, the Altar Guild, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, and the Flower Guild. If you are interested in any of these ministries please email us: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
To give our children a chance grow into their Christian life, we must give them opportunities to participate in the worship of Christ as early as we can.
The Altar Guild invites you to join them! Altar Guild Members serve in one or more of the following areas: Sunday services, weddings and funerals. Three teams prepare the altar for Sunday services.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) assist the Clergy in services of Holy Communion on Sundays, mid-week evening services and holy days.
Our rotating teams of ushers are trained to ensure Sunday services go smoothly in regard to seating, distributing bulletins, helping those in need, taking up the collection and straightening up the Nave after Sunday services.
The Flower Guild is guided by the motto “Flowers to the Glory of God” to keep us aware of our mission to beautify His house of worship and to use the natural beauty of flowers that He has given us to bring joy to others.
